BAND
Anzillu is an extreme metal band from Helsinki, Finland. The band takes
its name from ancient Sumeria, meaning abomination. Formed in 2019 by Jesse Kämäräinen after his
previous band disbanded he was joined by Teemu Kemppainen, Sami Katajainen and Rasmus Kantonen.
During the pandemic the band worked in the shadows perfecting the songs.
In late 2021 the band
entered Sonic Pump Studios under the guidance of Nino Laurenne (Amorphis, Lost Society,
Wintersun…) to record their debut album. The album was mastered by Svante Forsbäck (Rammstein,
Volbeat, Apocalyptica…). In early 2022 the band signed with M-Theory Audio and released four
music videos. In January 2023 the debut album was finally released to critical acclaim and the
band embarked on tour in Finland.
